Fuel Shortage Easing

The fuel shortage is beginning to ease somewhat.  As of Monday, many fuel stops outside of the hurricane area have eliminated gasoline/diesel rationing altogether.  However, rationing continues at many places in LA, MS, FL, and neighboring states.

Colonial Pipeline Co. runs one of the major pipelines through the region delivering fuel from southern Louisiana to Atlanta and points Northeast.  Colonial expected their pipeline to reach 80% capacity over the holiday weekend.
